Bishop Lother Williamson

“By all means of prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perservance and petition concerning all the saints.” (Eph. 6:18)

Bishop Lother Williamson was called to minister on January 21, 1974 under the tutelage of the late Pastor Bishop David L. Ellis, Sr., and Bishop Carl E. Holland, Christ Temple. He received his Ministerial license in 1977 and was ordained in 1978. This mighty man of God has committed his life to doing all things through Christ who strengthens him.

He is the pastor of New Way of Life Ministries, Detroit, Michigan, which he established in 1989. His father, the late Lother Williamson Sr., was the inspiration for naming the ministry, as he was a visionary and predicted his son would be ordained by God, to deliver the Word of God, and transform and empower the lives of many across the nation.

Bishop Williamson is known for his catechism style of teaching, training the principles of Christian religion in the form of questions and answers. God has given him opportunities to preach the Gospel throughout the country; he has built a network of pastors and friends in Canada by preaching and teaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Pentecostal Dominion of Canada COGIC, founder, the late Bishop Rowland Davis and Bishop Jerry Davis. Bishop Williamson spent seven years assisting over thirty six churches in Dresden, Ontario with his dynamic and prophetic teachings.

Bishop Williamson received a Doctor of Divinity in 1998, at the Wayne Theological Seminary, for his commitment to theological pursuits of healing, delivering and setting free souls. Presiding was the late Bishop Landon Hall and Dr. Betty Franklin.

Bishop Williamson has received honors from the Wayne County Commission, District 4, Elder William White and Heavenly Connection, for his service and commitment to excellence; and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School, Detroit, Michigan, for his commitment of time, support and inspiration extended to the students and the guidance department. Bishop Williamson is also an active board member with the Detroit Medical Center Pastors Board and the Beaumont Hospital Pastors Association, Michigan.

Bishop Williamson is blessed with two adult sons and eight grandchildren. When not preaching, Bishop Williamson spends time managing and running his businesses: Eagle Elite Janitorial Services and Great Lakes Processing Performance; processing of legal forms and documentation. He is also a fan of basketball and football, both of which he use to play. You can reach Bishop Lother Williamson at P.O. Box 760229 Lathrup Village, MI 48076.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
